It was the best of times. It was not the worst of times. Unless you believe the New York Times and the latest economic forecasts by our mediocre media. Tabor Hill has been our winery of choice for a few years. Miles Davis and Thelonius Monk came along with Sledge; I drank in the music while mashing potatoes and baking pumpkin pies.
